EVO 2020 canceled due to corona virus Pandemic

        It was expected that the EVO 2020 would bring together professional players from around the world to compete against some of the biggest names in combat games. With so many major events worldwide affected by the coronavirus pandemic, particularly in the gaming industry, the EVO 2019 has been canceled and joins the list of events canceled by this outbreak according to the organizers, tickets purchased for the EVO 2020 will be refunded to all customers as soon as possible.

Earlier, EVO 2020 organizers have announced that the planned annual summer tournament is still underway. Since then, however, the situation surrounding the coronavirus pandemic has only slowly improved and is now back in the spotlight. So it is no surprise that the Games organizers have pulled the plug on this summer’s physical gathering at Mandalay Bay. The EVO 2020 tournament is the latest event to be canceled due to coronavirus concerns. The organizers announced the cancellation on Wednesday.

For those of you who do not know, the EVO is an annual sporting event dedicated to combat games. It is not the biggest combat game tournament in the world, but it is the longest-running video game event of its kind and, alongside the E3, one of the most prestigious sporting events. It has been held every year since its inception in 2006 and, according to Guinness World Records, is not only the largest and longest-running race in North America but also the second largest in Europe and the third-largest in Asia

The tournament was scheduled for the end of July in Las Vegas and was considered one of the largest of its kind in the history of the sport .the announcement does not indicate how the summer event will be evaluated, but it is likely to be re-evaluated in the near future. It was announced via Twitter that EVO 2020 will no longer take place in July. It was announced that there would be some kind of online event or tournament in the summer, but no details were given. The online EVO 2020 could be limited to Street Fighter 5 and Tekken 7, but that would still be better than nothing. The EVO events are also known as the Evolution Championship Series, which includes exclusively combat games. This annual e-sports event has the majority of winners from Japan as they are the best in the fighting game.
