Doraemon Story of Seasons Launching on PS4 on July 30

Doraemon Story of Seasons to PS4, Here are a couple of quotes from Bandai Namco’s Kenji Nakajima about the game.

“We heard from many players that they wanted to play on PS4 too, so we started working on development right after development on the worldwide release.”

“We’re currently considering free updates for both PS4 and Switch versions.”

“We’re working hard on a new development for what comes next after Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town.”

Lastly, here’s one from Shohei Yamashita of Brownies:

“We ran into several hurdles porting to different hardware, but we’ve overcome the big hurdles.”

It has been hinted that a new Story of Seasons is in development for Switch most probably. The latest game that has been launched in the series is Story of Seasons Friends of Mineral Town on Switch, a remake of Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town on Gameboy Advance. PlayStation 4 will be getting Doraemon Story of Seasons as well. This game will launch in Japan on July 30. It is said to have completed around 85% of development.

In other information, Rune Factory 4 Special is also on Switch. Marvellous is also scheduled to launch for the later half of this year. The stake is really high if it gets delayed because of the pandemic outbreak.
